About the Program

Four Weeks That Shape
How They Think

Most summer programs keep kids busy. This one teaches them how to think.

Classical education follows the Trivium — three stages of learning that have shaped Western thought for over two thousand years. At LOGOS, every subject is taught through this framework, building knowledge, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate with clarity and purpose.

Grammar

Knowledge

Facts, data, terms, and foundational skills. The building blocks of every subject.

Logic

Understanding

How the facts connect. The “what” and the “why” behind every idea.

Rhetoric

Upper Grades

The ability to express knowledge with clarity and persuasion.

LOGOS is not just a summer camp. It is a four-week academic program grounded in the Christian classical tradition — the same method that produced thinkers from Augustine to C.S. Lewis. Morning sessions build deep literacy through reading, writing, and literature, while afternoons bring the arts and physical activity to round out each day.

Now entering its third year, LOGOS has served 100+ students with a curriculum overseen by Bethel Classical Academy. Three combo classes ensure focused, personal instruction with a hard cap of 15 students per class.

Language Arts &
Integrated Studies

Mornings center on Language Arts — reading, book club discussion, writing, and literature. Hands-on crafts and creative elements are woven into lessons to reinforce learning, building an integrated curriculum where every activity serves the same goal.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is classical Christian education?+
Classical education follows the Trivium — Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric — a time-tested framework that teaches students how to learn, think critically, and express ideas with clarity. At LOGOS, this is integrated with a Christian worldview across all subjects.
Can I enroll for fewer than 4 weeks?+
Yes! Full Day students can enroll for any combination of weeks at $600 per week. Half Day requires a minimum 2-week commitment at $400 per week.
Is lunch provided?+
Lunch is provided for Full Day enrollment only. Students may bring their own lunch if preferred (no fee discount). No sharing of food due to allergy concerns. Half Day students are dismissed at 12:00 PM before lunch.
What is the refund policy?+
Fees are not refundable except in cases of documented medical emergencies. Enrollments not paid within one week of submission are automatically cancelled.
What are the drop-off and pickup procedures?+
Drop-off begins at 9:00 AM. Full Day pickup is at 4:00 PM (5:00 PM with Extended Care). Only authorized persons may pick up students — ID may be required. Late pickups beyond 15 minutes incur a $2.50 fee per 15-minute increment.
Is there a sibling discount?+
Yes. Each additional child enrolled receives $50 off per week. The discount is applied automatically when you add multiple students on the enrollment form.
What should my child wear?+
Comfortable clothing and sneakers appropriate for physical education. No open-toed shoes. Students will participate in PE and art activities daily.
My child has allergies or needs medication. What do I do?+
Note all allergies and medical conditions on the enrollment form. If your child requires medication during session hours, a separate Medication Authorization Form must be completed. All medication must be in original packaging with clear dosage instructions.
What about Extended Care?+
Extended Care runs from 4:00 to 5:00 PM daily for Full Day students only. It includes supervised free play and quiet activities. $75 per week, enrolled on a weekly basis.
